Our Mission

This is the Our Mission page.

Our Mission

To provide a digital sanctuary for those navigating the storms of mental health and the aftermath of abuse. We are here to offer the tools to rebuild, the space to speak your truth without fear, and a community that understands that healing is not a straight line.

Our Vision

We see a world where no one has to fight the darkness alone. We envision a community where shared pain transforms into shared strength, and where "surviving" eventually turns into "thriving." We are building a space where clarity replaces confusion and support replaces silence.

Our Purpose

In a world that often feels chaotic and judgmental, Posivra exists to cut through the noise. We are here to:

The Origin Story (The "Why")

The Origin of Posivra

Posivra wasn’t born in a boardroom; it was born because I wanted to help others get through the things I had to face on my own.

I have lived through deep heartbreak. At one point, I even developed a phobia of falling asleep. Someone who claimed to be a psychic told me I was going to die soon, and I became terrified that if I closed my eyes, I wouldn’t wake up—that I wouldn’t be able to see the person I loved anymore. I know to some of you that might seem crazy, but we are not here to judge one another. We are here because, at that time, I didn’t have anyone to talk to about it.

I never want anyone else to face that silence.

I just want people to always have someone to talk to about whatever they are facing. I want you to know that you aren’t alone and that others have overcome exactly what you are facing right now. But more than that, someone else might need to hear how you overcame your battles, or they might just need someone to walk through it with them, hand in hand.

I also survived a relationship with a narcissist for way longer than I should have. She was physically and emotionally abusive, constantly coming up with excuses to break up. She would claim I “hacked” her TV or her DVD player just to pick a fight. Then she would kick me out, and that exact same weekend—or even that day—she would have another man come stay with her.

When I tried to reach out for help, I felt unheard. I remember finally starting to turn my life around, and a person I looked to for support simply said, “I guess you don’t need me anymore.” They made me feel like I was just wasting their time.

I never want anyone to feel like they aren’t being heard. I never want anyone to feel like they aren’t important enough to be given time.

The Prayer

I built this platform to be the place I didn’t have. But to understand why I am here, I need to back up to a time before my struggles began.

Years ago, I fell in love with the song “Nobody Knows” by Tony Rich. I remember praying to God for almost eight hours that night with a single plea:

“Give me a voice that even the deaf can hear.”

At the time, I thought I was praying for a singing voice. But He gave me exactly what I asked for, just not how I expected. He didn’t give me a melody; He gave me words. He gave me a voice.

And if it wasn’t for that prayer, Posivra wouldn’t be here today.
